On Friday and Saturday, May 23 & 24, 2008, the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra will be performing J.S. Bach’s Mass in B Minor. The title of the performance is “Grandeur and Worship.”

Bach’s Mass is deep and moving, full of glory and religious awe. But its intimacy can be touching, too. It is profound, but also human, an image of a greater world with many links to our own.
