Rally for Religious Freedom

March 24, 2012 by Rick

Yesterday, I attended a rally in the Brown County Courthouse rotunda in Green Bay, WI for religious liberty.  The picture above is outside the courthouse after the event.  Pictured below in the rotunda, Drew Mariani, a host on Relevant Radio, addressed the people.

Similar rallies were organized by Stand Up for Religious Freedom, and held simultaneously throughout the United States.  In part, I was motivated to participate in these rallies by a post on Esgetology.com entitled: “The hatchet is in the air.”  Pastor Esget’s post was based on a quote by G.K. Chesteron that said tyranny should be actively opposed before it can strike.

The time to stop a hatchet from striking is while it is poised in the air.  When tyranny threatens, we either parry the axe, or suffer the blow.  Please let there be no doubt, the threat to religious liberty posed by the Obama Administration is real and present.  They are attempting to strike Lady Liberty with an axe.  The time to block that blow is now.

Stand up for religious freedom.

These are real issues. But I also see an underlying agenda; a forced ecumenism…thoughts?

Hi Joe, thanks for the comment. I’m not sure what you mean by “forced ecumenism.” God’s blessings to you and your family.
