Whiteout & Ice Crystals

One version of a whiteout is when it snows so hard that everything turns white, especially the horizon.  This wasn’t quite a total-whiteout, but it came close.  (If the camera had been turned slightly to the left, it would have been a total-whiteout, but a very boring picture).  The top two pictures were taken on March 8, 2009 A.D.  Yes, it’s still winter in Wisconsin.

From whose womb comes the ice?
Who gives birth to the frost from the heavens

when the waters become hard as stone,
when the surface of the deep is frozen?

— Job 38:29-30

He has made everything beautiful in its time.

He has also set eternity in the hearts of men; yet they cannot fathom what God has done from beginning to end.

— Ecclesiastes 3:11.

I know that everything God does will endure forever; nothing can be added to it and nothing taken from it.

God does it so that men will revere him.

— Ecclesiastes 3:14.
