District President Story Time

Child:  “District President, would you tell me a story?”

District President:  “Sure.  What story would you like to hear?”

Child:  “I would like to hear the story about the boy who cried wolf.”

District President:  “There was a boy watching the sheep.  Once, he cried, ‘wolf!,’ but no one came because they believed that wolves were extinct.  Then the the mayor became very upset, and had the town council throw the boy out of town.

“And they all lived happily ever after, except the boy who was eaten by a large angry dog.”

Child:  “Hmm, that large angry dog sounds just like a wolf!”

District President:  “And the moral of the story is, we should always put the best construction on everything, and never cry ‘wolf!'”
